What this site records and what it does not

Last updated 2026-10-23. This policy is for bestdesklamps.com and its brand subdomains.

Writing to us

If you email [email protected], we receive your address and whatever you put in the message. We keep it only as long as needed to answer or to act on a correction request. We do not add you to a list, and we do not pass your address to anyone else.

Server logs

Our host records standard request logs for security and troubleshooting: IP address, time, requested URL, browser string. These logs are not used to build profiles and are not sold. They exist so we can spot abuse, broken pages, and bots.

Catalog picker storage

The catalog picker remembers your filter choices using your browser's localStorage. That data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it. No account is created and no login exists on this site.

California requests

We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines selling. If you are a California resident and want to know what we hold or ask us to delete it, email [email protected] with the request. We will confirm what we can and remove what we are able to remove.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, the new text replaces the old one on this page. Questions about any of the above go to [email protected]. That address is also how you ask us to delete anything you previously sent.

Visit counts

This site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. A short notice on the site explains that. Google’s own policy covers that processing. We do not receive your name from it.
